Swanky Shoe Pick: Vivienne Westwood Anglomania x Melissa

Welcome to the fifth installation of 7 Days of Inexpensive with Swanky in which each day I feature one of my favorite less pricey designers as a Swanky Shoe Pic of the Day.

Say hello to the uber swanky yet swankster slingback peep toe pumps by Vivienne Westwood and the brand’s collaboration with Melissa shoes. They’re from Westwood’s Anglomania collection and consists of matte rubber and an angel wing on one side. Unlike some of the other styles these are one solid color. I own a similar style except with a big bow instead of the wing and they’re extremely comfortable! With the heel height at 4″, it makes them perfect in that you can dress them up and be playful without abandoning comfort.

Any Melissa shoe but especially the collaboration with Vivienne Westwood is one of my fun crushes as of late. I love that they are made of 99% recycled PVC plastic and like Mae of thereafterish had us notice on a shoe closet interview I did with her, they smell like bubblegum (with a hint of plastic of course). I find that Vivienne Westwood always has great deals on a variety of styles with a twist and as of late are really getting to be super swankster in the men’s department (hubster approved!).

I would personally wear them with a midi dress for church or leggings with a funky blazer a la Katy Perry. I found so many great swanktastic splurge worthy printed blazers I couldn’t resist sharing…Escada Vintage, Jean Paul Gaultier Vintage, Just Cavalli, and Moschino Cheap & Chic.
